Our test disks are precision manufactured using cast acrylic, with full traceability. Each test disk is supplied with a manufacturers certificate of conformity. Our acrylic test disks are available with up to 7.5mm contamination bearings and can be made from clear acrylic with colour coded lettering or high visibility acrylic with white lettering.

Regular performance testing of both metal detection and x-ray inspection equipment is an essential component of a quality management system. Confirming the accurate performance of a company’s process controls to ensure compliance to the QMS requires calibrated test equipment with full traceability and all equipment certified according to BS EN ISO 9002 and UKAS calibration.

Contaminant bearings larger than 7.5mm can be supplied upon request. Contaminants are supplied in a 10mm thick test disk but 5.0mm disks can be supplied upon request.

Contaminants available:

Fe – Ferrous – High Visibility Red Casing
NF – Non-ferrous – High Visibility Green Casing
S4 – Stainless Steel 304 – High Visibility Blue Casing
S6 – Stainless Steel 316 – High Visibility Blue Casing

Please note all our test pieces are manufactured to order and may take up to 14 working days to be delivered. Other contaminants and bearing sizes including Aluminium, Stainless Steel 440, Stainless Steel 420 and Bronze are available upon request in sizes upto 20mm. Please.
