The KM814FS Infrared Food Thermometer with Laser Sighting is a pocket-sized infrared thermometer for fast and safe measurements with temperature range and accuracy ideally suited to food industry HACCP requirements.

The Table is split into three sections or columns….

Ambient Temperature – For the purposes of the specifications we quote Operational Performance at an Ambient temperature of 23°C or 73°F. This is the ambient temperature of the test laboratory where the KM814FS is calibrated during manufacture and the specifications quoted are valid for this ambient temperature. We do not quote the performance for other ambient temperature ranges as this would get very complicated very quickly.

Measured Temperature – The total measurement range of the KM814FS is -30°C to +200°C or -25°F to +400°F, however there isn’t a simple Accuracy statement that we can quote that covers the whole range, so we’ve split it into three clear ranges.

Accuracy – For each of the measurement ranges, we quote the accuracy as clearly as possible, so that you know how accurate your thermometer is over that given measurement range. For example measuring temperature in the range 0°C to 65°C or 32°F to 150°F is very straightforward, it is simply ±1°C or ±2°F
